I can attempt to take care of myself in self-sufficiency or I can choose an intimate partnership the Prince of Peace
“I trust You, Jesus.” With these 4 words, I surrender control and fall back into the everlasting arms of the Lord of Love. Looking up from seemingly obvious obstructions of life enables me to search and see the true treasure His Presence has prepared personally for me.

Hold me, Jesus,
cause I’m shaking like a leaf
You have King of my Glory;
Won’t you be my Prince of Peace

Trust is not easy especially for those carrying deep wounds. Yet the Lord’s Spirit resident in us patiently waits for us to yield to His healing touch.
We cling to a desire to understand which impossible and would not relieve our hurt. Satan uses it to distract us from our true need – God’s Presence. Help me to trust you this day and every day to…

That use the wound to heal the child”

You, Lord, never leave me or forsake me for you understand me completely and love me perfectly, forgiving me this moment and for all eternity, ever seeing me with your eyes of grace. Do you not know that our Lord take such great delight in you that is constantly rejoices by singing you a love song? Tune out the world’s noise and listen – anytime, anyplace. Nobody can take Him from you.
Even though He continually pours His heart out to you, His love-song is an invitation for you to come actively seek and receive His richest blessings. He longs for His children to come knock on His door, asking for His time and treasure, seeking His counsel. What good father doesn’t want to give such blessings to his children – yet Our Heavenly Father desires it more.
Zeph 3:17; Mt 7:7
Our world is about working & taking so The Lord’s command to rest & receive seems too good to be true. Believe! He pours His very Life into so you are transformed from glory to glory. He says, “BE STILL, and know that I am God.”
2 Cor 3:18; Eph 3:17-19; Ps 46:10
Jesus overcame the world, including our circumstances. In His Presence, we are freed from earthly shackles and lifted above these situations. Seated thus in heavenly realms with The Lord of all, our perspective is altered to see clearly what is important and what’s not. Resting in His arms here, we receive Joy that no one can take away from us.
Jn 16:22,33; Eph 2:6
Waiting on The Lord is not the same as waiting for a result. Shifting my focus from the result enables me to trust hopefully in Jesus rather than an outcome.
Heb 6:18-20; Jn 14:1; Ps 27:14
Naturally, we assess our abilities compared to the challenge ahead. Supernaturally, we walk by faith, not by sight, accomplishing His purposes in His strength & abilities. You have to get beyond the safety of self to see the thrill of Jesus working through you. Stay close, my friends.
2Cor5:7; Gal 5:25
What if today is neither a blank page we must fill up or a schedule imposed on us, but instead is a field trip The Lord is guiding excited to see our response to all He will show us?
