It’s impossible to have a need Jesus can’t meet. After all, He created me and everything that is. The world is still at His beck and call despite appearances for His unseen reality is eternally true and infinitely trustworthy. In Christ, I have everything and am complete.

Thank you for meeting all my needs, Lord, especially the peace you’ve planted in my heart. Help me to not be anxious about all the weeds surrounding me but to sit in the light of Your Presence as You cause the weeds to shrivel and Your Peace to flourish. You’ve promised to finish Your work in me and produce Your glory that far outweighs my light and momentary troubles.

Do you not know that our Lord take such great delight in you that is constantly rejoices by singing you a love song? Tune out the world’s noise and listen – anytime, anyplace. Nobody can take Him from you.
Even though He continually pours His heart out to you, His love-song is an invitation for you to come actively seek and receive His richest blessings. He longs for His children to come knock on His door, asking for His time and treasure, seeking His counsel. What good father doesn’t want to give such blessings to his children – yet Our Heavenly Father desires it more.

Our world is about working & taking so The Lord’s command to rest & receive seems too good to be true. Believe! He pours His very Life into so you are transformed from glory to glory. He says, “BE STILL, and know that I am God.”

Jesus overcame the world, including our circumstances. In His Presence, we are freed from earthly shackles and lifted above these situations. Seated thus in heavenly realms with The Lord of all, our perspective is altered to see clearly what is important and what’s not. Resting in His arms here, we receive Joy that no one can take away from us.
