Supernatural Stroll

Naturally, we assess our abilities compared to the challenge ahead. Supernaturally, we walk by faith, not by sight, accomplishing His purposes in His strength & abilities. You have to get beyond the safety of self to see the thrill of Jesus working through you. Stay close, my friends.

Walking On Water

Why do I expend so much effort trying to avoid trials rather than seeing You and Your Purpose in that moment? You did not promise us heaven now but taught us to pray, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”! Is my focus on avoiding problems not double-minded faithlessness?

When I keep my eyes on You, Lord, while the waves rage around me, I can count it all joy knowing You are developing endurance, steadfastness and patience in me and magnifying Your Glory through me.
Ja 1:2-3AMP; Ps 63:7-8; Mt 6:10; Mt 14:28-31

When you love you walk on the water
Just don’t stumble on the waves
We all want to go there somethin’ awful
But to stand there it takes some grace.
We are not as strong as we think we are.

Befriending Problems

As the day dawns, I scan the horizon and see a landmine of stumbling blocks before me. I look up to you, Lord, thankful for all that you’ve given me despite these trials in life. You are not satisfied with this asking me to bring my problems also to sacrifice on the alter of gratitude. I am hesitant at first but You tell me to rest assured that You are weaving all things, including my problems, into a pattern of goodness. Yes, Lord! Thank you.

With this new trust, I look ahead again, now with transformed eyes; able to befriend these problems-turned-potential and so navigate this terrain with Your power and wisdom – living out Your best purposes for me (which is always my best purpose) and broadcasting Your glory. Amen.

Christ In Me

How much have I paid to gain fleeting life while Jesus freely gives abundant, lasting life.

He has chosen to accomplish His purposes by bestowing His Joy and His Glory on us as we live in His Presence filled with His very Life.
